Seat Belt Laws free essay sample

Be that as it may, the driver likely would have lived on the off chance that he would have been wearing his safety belt. With scenes, for example, this, it is obvious that safety belt laws ought to be basically just as implemented. Vehicle fatalities bigly affect death rates and protection premiums; in this way, implementing safety belt laws can positively affect society. Cars have advanced as the years progressed, and have gotten quicker, yet the quicker you go the more noteworthy the effect when a mishap happens. Government and State organizations have created speed limits and different rules, which when upheld, help protect travelers. Despite the fact that these laws are set up, mishaps despite everything happen; in any case, when the best possible safety measures are taken, dangers can be limited. As innovation advances so will vehicles; along these lines, security will keep on being a significant concern. It is dependent upon the drivers to choose to wear a safety belt, yet law implementation officials are the ones who are there to authorize safety belt laws. We will compose a custom article test on Safety belt Laws or on the other hand any comparative point explicitly for you Don't WasteYour Time Recruit WRITER Just 13.90/page Safety belts are introduced into each vehicle and truck, however would it be a good idea for us to need to wear them? Each state has an alternate law about who does and doesn't need to wear them, however in the province of Indiana on the off chance that you are in a vehicle that is furnished with safety belts and anybody over the age of 14 you are required to wear a safety belt. Additionally, youngsters must utilize the right vehicle seat for their weight until they arrive at 135 centimeters tall or their twelfth birthday, whichever starts things out. There are a few different reasons that you don't have to wear a safety belt, for example, in the event that you are a driver who is turning around, or administering a student driver who is switching, in a vehicle utilized for police, fire, and salvage benefits, an assenger in an exchange vehicle and you are researching a shortcoming, driving a decent vehicle on conveyances that is voyaging close to 50 meters between stops, or an authorized cabbie who is ‘playing for hire’ or conveying travelers (Using, 1). In the event that there is an exp lanation that you can't wear a safety belt because of clinical reasons, your primary care physician must issue you a ‘Certificate of Exemption for Compulsory Seat Belt Wearing’. You should keep this in your vehicle consistently and convenient if a cop pulls you over. There are severe safety belt laws worldwide be that as it may, as indicated by measurements, they are scarcely followed. Around half of lives will be spared in a mishap if individuals wear safety belts. Safety belt security insights show that for the most part the more youthful populace between the age bunches 16-35 is not really discovered wearing safety belts. Safety belt realities likewise demonstrate that 70% of the individuals wearing a safety belt have forestalled wounds even on meeting with a mishap. It is discovered that almost 10,000 lives can be spared each year just by wearing a safety belt (Pandit 1). As per contemplates refered to by the Independence Institute, â€Å"When subjects who ordinarily didn't wear safety belts were approached to do as such, they were seen to drive quicker, followed all the more intently, and braked later. At the end of the day, individuals who are normally mindful deliberately decide to wear safety belts, and willfully drive securely. At the point when careless individuals are compelled to wear safety belts, they â€Å"compensate† for the expanded wellbeing by driving all the more wildly. Moreover, no purview that has passed a safety belt law has demonstrated proof of a decrease in street mishap demise. (Veksler 1) Seat belts were intended to spare peoples’ lives, this possibly works in the event that they are worn accurately or even by any means. Numerous individuals don't wear their safety belts since they don't have confidence in their adequacy, since they have heard that wearing safety belts may really cost them their lives in specifi c sorts of mishaps (Mikkelson 1). The constitution permits everybody to have the opportunity rights, however how reasonable is it for the legislature to direct what we can and can’t do with regards to wearing a safety belt. The U. S. National Highway Safety Bureau originally required vehicle producers to introduce lap belts for all seats and shoulder belts for front seats in 1968; be that as it may, most Americans didn't normally utilize seat straps until 1984, when the principal state laws were passed ordering safety belt use. Starting today, there are 48 states in which it is unlawful for a driver or traveler to go without a safety belt (the exemptions are Maine and New Hampshire). Of those 48 states, 10 have essential implementation, implying that police can stop and ticket a driver basically for not wearing a safety belt. The other 38 states with safety belt laws have auxiliary requirement, implying that police can possibly ticket individuals not wearing safety belts in the event that they pull the vehicle over for some other explanation. In the event that not all states need to wear them, at that point why make it a law? Numerous fatalities that are identified with vehicle mishaps can be maintained a strategic distance from if the inhabitants wear their safety belts. Some state safety belts can be the reason for passings. In spite of the fact that this might be valid, it is demonstrated that by and large safety belts are unquestionably bound to spare a real existence than slaughter the tenants of a vehicle. As written in the World Almanac and Book of Facts, â€Å"In 2006, seat straps and youngster limitations spared an expected 15,808 lives† (â€Å"U. S. Motor† 1746). Safety belts do spare lives; thusly, the laws that advance their utilization ought to be implemented. At the point when police have the power to stop a driver exclusively for not wearing a safety belt, which is called essential law, drivers have even more motivation to wear their safety belts. Besides, vehicle protection premiums could diminish if safety belt laws are followed. It bodes well that insurance agencies charge more since mishaps are raised because of carelessness of the driver by not wearing his safety belt. This point is emphasized in the Hudson Valley Business Journal: â€Å"The more secure all drivers are, the less wounds there will be, which influences everyone’s protection premiums† (â€Å"Seat Belts† 18). On the off chance that drivers would simply make that additional stride before driving, and clasp their safety belt, society all in all may see a reduction in protection premiums later on. Protection suppliers may not see the change immediately, yet over the long haul they would need to see that fatalities are diminishing. In spite of the fact that law implementation projects, for example, Click-It-Or-Ticket help raise the utilization of safety belts, they do as such by undermining drivers with fines for not locking in. Laurie F. Beck, from the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control composed, â€Å"Although paces of seat strap use in the United States have expanded considerably since the primary state law was passed in 1984, many engine vehicle inhabitants keep on voyaging unrestrained† (1619). Here and there dangers avoid arriving at the measure of individuals expected. Maybe if programs were created to remunerate drivers who get pulled over and are wearing their safety belt, at that point we would see a more grounded increment in safety belt use. Watch officials could be required to note when a driver was appropriately controlled; that data could be given to insurance agencies; those organizations would know which drivers were driving securely, and could compensate them with limited premiums. We as American residents ought to have the decision in on the off chance that we wear them or not. There are numerous reasons that numerous individuals don't wear them, yet here are only a couple. A few people feel in the event that they are going a speed of under 40 mph, at that point they don't have to wear them; anyway the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) states that 80 percent of all accidents come at rates of under 40 mph and 75 percent of those are inside 25 miles of home (Silverman 1). Another explanation individuals don't wear their safety belts are on the grounds that they accept they are awkward. They accept the blend of the lap and shoulder belt is awkward, so they either don't wear it or they put the shoulder belt under their arm. In doing this, it can cause inward wounds in the event that they were ever in a mishap. An alternate explanation that a few people don't wear their safety belt is on the grounds that they feel their autonomy is being taken from them for being determined what to do in their vehicle. They feel that their vehicle is their post and they ought not be determined what to do in it, particularly by the legislature. A few people feel that on the off chance that they are tossed from a vehicle they have a superior possibility of being spared then remaining in the vehicle with the mishap. This isn't accurate as indicated by the Kansas Traffic Safety Resource Office; people who get tossed from their vehicles are bound to get executed than those wearing safety belts (Silverman 2). At long last, numerous drivers state they need to expand their odds of enduring a vehicle fire or a lowered vehicle. They feel that in the event that they are clasped is it not just going to take more time to escape the vehicle, yet on the off chance that they are shocked or not alert, it will ruin their odds of escaping the vehicle alive. Not exactly ? of 1 percent of all mishaps include vehicle flames or submersion. On the off chance that some kind of remuneration program happened to be set up, the situation prior could have finished in an unexpected way. Perhaps the driver would have endured some sort of injury, yet the safety belt could have prevented him from hitting his head on the windshield. In spite of the fact that safety belt laws advance the decrease of vehicle related fatalities and help decline the expense of protection premiums, different projects, for example, a prize program could additionally arrive at drivers. The more advantages drivers see about wearing safety belts the more noteworthy the possibility they will decide to wear them. References: Beck, Laurie F. , et al. The significance of the lady in Black and her two Lovers Essay

The centrality of the woman dressed in Black and her two Lovers - Essay Example Walker is likewise proposing that the women's activist strivings are not restrictive of more extensive political looking for of uniformity. In reality, the two causes are complicatedly associated and incompletely clarify why Vyry and her two darlings are displayed in same scenes in the novel. (Graham 96) Apart from this representative presentation of solidarity, another motivation behind why these characters show up together is to differentiate their various outlooks and mentalities. As such, there appear to be decent variety of character and character inside the bigger basic goal of opportunity. To delineate, in one entry Innis Brown reacting to his better half Vyry states â€Å"Just like you can make candles and cleanser and plume beds, cloth mats, and blankets, and turn and weave and sew, and cooking was your principle work, I figured out how to do a great deal, of things sides working in the fields. (Walker as cited in Cash 78) The message here is one of building up the division between the manly and the female. Different divisions that these pairings bring out are those of â€Å"black versus white, rich versus poor, engaged versus impaired, subjugated versus free†. (Beaulieu 15) Margaret Walker, writing in the twentieth century, calculates an extra pair the rundown, to be specific, legitimately oppressed versus lawfully free. One essential manner by which the class of slave account is reconsidered in Jubilee is the consideration paid to the individual (particularly the sentimental) aspects of Vyry’s troublesome life. This is practiced by displaying the connection among Vyry and her two sweethearts at a few focuses in the work. Vyry’s loyalties are altogether tried as she is made to pick between â€Å"her reliability to her first spouse and her white family and dedication to her subsequent husband and her kids. Antigone Written Response Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words - 1

Antigone Written Response - Essay Example om a stature with effect of high greatness will lead the crowd to what Aristotle calls â€Å" Catharsis†, or cleansing endlessly of awful qualities in their own character. To cite Poetics by Aristotle: â€Å" Tragedy, at that point, is an impersonation of an activity of high significance , complete and of some plentifulness ; in language upgraded by unmistakable and differing wonders ; acted not described; by methods for pity and dread affecting its purgation of these emotions.† (From Poetics, Eight Great Tragedies, PP 406) In this play both Antigone just as Creon, the leader of Thebes, apparently meet all requirements to be the shocking legend. As the play is titled Antigone, one will in general expect that she ought to be the sad courageous woman of the play. However, she really fits into just not many of the Aristotelian qualities of a sad legend. She is a princess. She isn't fortunate or unfortunate in the outrageous. She is faithful to her sibling, polyneices, for whom she needed to give a not too bad internment. At the point when Creon the ruler denies her this right, she addresses the authority of the lord and that prompts her passing. Along these lines here is a tumble from a profoundly stately position which may appear to make Antigone the grievous champion of the play. Be that as it may, her activity is will full and is for a respectable motivation .She knew the outcomes of her activity and was prepared to die for it. She was doing what she thought was correct. Creon then again has all the qualities to be an Aristotelian lamentable saint. He isn't acceptable, nor is he awful. In spite of the fact that his activities lead to the demise of Antigone, he never proposed to execute her. He was attempting to keep the law of his own standard over the Thebans. Be that as it may, past this theme, his activities are out of his egotism and obstinacy. He was so self-important to imagine that being the ruler his was the last word with no duty to the individuals. â€Å"No. I am above all else and mindful just to myself.† says Creon during his contention with his own child, Haemon. (Antigone, line 738, The Theban Plays, PP146). During this contention he will not concede the blunder in

Quotations for Bonding With Your Sister

I grew up with two sisters. As kids, we had our share of squabbles and catty fights, just like any other siblings. However, I didnt feel that our parents ever favored one over the other, or interfered in our quarrels. They let us settle our own matters. I always found that when tempers flared, my younger sister would say something cute, and make us all laugh. Our quarrels never lasted for more than a day, often lasting only for minutes. Brothers Are Different From Sisters As a mother of two boys, I see a different type of relationship between my two sons. Boys squabble over different issues than girls. The way two brothers bond with each other is different from the way sisters bond. I watched my sisters grow up into beautiful, capable and confident women. My overprotective older sister grew up to be cautious and risk-averse. She made calculated moves, ensuring that she protected her family at every turn. My younger sister went about her business with an air of nonchalance, seeking new adventures even at great personal risk. She achieved her ambitions early in life, which fueled her aspirations. I often wonder how despite our common childhood experiences, we developed different skills and perspectives. Your Sister and You Have a Shared Childhood Many sisters bond over shared childhood experiences, and how these experiences impacted their life. Your sister has shared your journey of life during childhood; the time when personalities get formed. Your sister has seen you in your most vulnerable moments. She knows you nature inside out. She understands you even better than you understand yourself. Who better than your sister to confide your darkest secrets? Sisters Hold the Mirror Up to Your Face Need a reality check? Go to your sister. She will mince no words when she has to tell you that you are a boneheaded egomaniac. However, you can rest assured that she is on your side, and she means well. Your arguments with your sister will enable you to think through your decision and make the right move. Sisters Can Shield You From the World The best thing about sisters is that they give you room to make your own mistakes. While your sister may still dangle the threat of squealing to your mother, she will help you when you need her the most. She will protect her family honor by defending you against your enemies. What Makes Sisters Special Sisters are Gods greatest blessings. You are lucky if you have a sister. Make your relationship special by sharing intimate childhood experiences with your sister. Walk down memory lane as you recount your good and bad childhood memories. Share your views about each other, and get a fresh perspective about yourself. Build an everlasting bond of friendship with these sister quotes. Cherish this bond of sibling love and make your life complete. Attitudes in Employee Relationship †Free Samples to Samples

Question: Discuss about the Attitudes in Employee Relationship. Answer: Introduction: Organizational behavior is the investigation which is concerned with the effects of the organizational structure on the behavior of the individual within the business corporation. The study also enables to observe the organizations through various perceptions which include various behaviors within the organizational structure and also that of the other business entities (Kashyap 2017). The organizational behavior has been segmented in two empirical divisions .i.e. macro and micro organizational behavior. Micro behavior refers to individual and group dynamics, whereas, macro refers to the whole organization and also the industries which also includes the adoption of the strategies, structures and the contingencies which guide this behavior. The performance of an individual within the business entity has been observed to be made dependent on the bonds developed with the colleagues and the subordinates within the organization (Managementstudyguide 2017). A friendly connection between the employees is of very much essential for a smooth and easy in the discussion on the issues and conflicts if any. As no individual has a potential to perform alone. One of the main roles which are played by attitude is to enhance the relationship among the individuals. Positivity towards life and work is developed by a positive attitude. An individual who possesses a set of professional communication skills, or a high level of intelligence in working and if the positive attitude is absent then the impression wont be that good (Nag 2012). The other individuals will be reluctant to speak and there will be chances of raising conflicts and issues. A negative attitude will be coming-up as the reason of several issues among the employees within t he organizational structure. A negative attitude tends the individual to be reluctant and this will be proven problematic as it will portray bad image if-front of the superiors. This will lead the leaders or the superiors to lose trust in the individual. Moreover, the attitudes have a great impact on the job satisfaction and performance level of an individual. Positivity in the attitude will make the employee accept all the tasks which are allotted by the superiors (intern.internship-uk 2015). This will enable the individual to perform the task and which will enhance the productivity and efficiency. Accepting the allotted task will portray a positive image in-front of the superiors; this will be proven beneficial for the individual as the superior can offer some rewards or incentives against the positive behavior. This in-turn will make the employee work with more dedication and interest, which will automatically enhance the performance bar and also the individual will be feeling satisfied with the job. Job satisfaction and performance level of an individual are linked to each other and also have impacts on each other (Pinder, 2014). Job satisfaction is connected to the productivity of an employee as greater the satisfaction the grea ter will be the dedication and which in-turn will reflect a high level of productivity. Also, a higher level of job satisfaction will lead the employees to perform their tasks with interest and which will decrease absenteeism. The satisfied employees are less likely to quit and this will tend the organization to apprise the employees who have retained and are performing well. A positive attitude of an employee aids the individual and business entity in attaining the goals and targets (Miner, 2015). A satisfied and well-performing employee will be providing positive and desired outcomes to a firm, for instance, a dedicated employee will be always into providing the best quality of services and higher productivity and which will lead to a higher level of satisfaction of customers. Moreover, the individuals who have positive attitude will also tend to behave politely with the customers which will also enhance the satisfaction level of employees and also they are less likely to turn-ove r, which will aid in establishing long-term bonds with the customers and which will also result in customer satisfaction (Wagner and Hollenbeck, 2014). Positivity in the attitude also leads to several aids which will be served to the individual and organization. Work leads to pressure and stress and positive attitude towards work can be considered as the remedy of busting the stress level. Positive thinking proved beneficial in reducing stress, this will enable the employees to be healthy and this will minimize the absenteeism which automatically enhances the productivity of the individuals and also of the organization. In case of the groups or teams, the attitude of an employee plays a great role as it will influence the productivity and performance level of the team (Luthans, Luthans and Luthans, 2015). The team works on the sense of coordination, trust and other factors which are based on the feel of working together. An individual performing in a team is totally connected to the other team mates and the performance level of the individual will reflect in the performance charts of that employee. Moreover, when the individual is working in a group based task then he is supposed to work in a coordinated sense and should have trust on each other and this all will be made possible by positivity in the behavior. A positive attitude of the individual in a team will make the other employees comfortable and they will also try to indulge in the activities which are not a team task (DuBrin, 2013). A positive attitude will tend the other team mates to help and work in coordination. This all will bring enhan cement to the performance level of the team as a whole. Human resource has been considered as one of the most empirical assets of the business entity and also the attitude and behavior of an individual have several impacts on the business organization. A positive attitude will tend the individual to work with more dedication and interest which enhances the productivity and performance on the individual basis (Altman, Valenzi and Hodgetts, 2013). This performance level of an employee is added to the performance and productivity of the organization. Bang Your Head Quiet Riot is an american heavy metal band from the 1980’s best known for their top songs â€Å"Metal Health† and â€Å"Cum on Feel the Noize†. The album â€Å"Metal Health† features both of the tracks previously mentioned, along with 10 others, including a live track, â€Å"Slick Black Cadillac†. Drums are one of the biggest aspects of heavy metal; although all aspects are highly important, drums are the biggest and Drew Forsyth knows how to bring his drums out to play for this album. Classification Essay Sample on Halloween Costumes

Classification Essay Sample on Halloween Costumes A classification essay is not the most popular type of academic paper which students are required to write during their studying process. However, most of the academic subjects imply the demonstration of critical thinking, which means that at least once in their lifetime, all students will be supposed to create a classification essay sample. Therefore, being familiar with the steps of writing on the classification essay topics is necessary whether in humanitarian or technical disciplines. First of all, the core element of the classification essay is a category, namely a group of objects united by similar characteristics of the specific criteria. Hence, the second necessary element of the categorization process is the classification criteria according to which objects or their characteristics will be categorized. For instance, while writing about the literature genres, one may choose a â€Å"fiction/non-fiction† system of categorization, which means the division of literature genres in two categories: â€Å"fiction† and â€Å"non-fiction,† depending on the following categorization criteria that are the verity of the events. If the events stem from the author’s imagination with no relation to real experiences, the genre refers to the fiction literature. The opposite category to the fiction is non-fiction, which means that any story of non-fiction genres is based on real-life experiences. For instance, Alice in Wonderland is an example of fiction literature, while Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury, written as a memoir, is an accurate example of the non-fiction. ‘Halloween Costumes: Hold Your Heroes to High Standards’ Essay Sample There are two types of people: those who prepare for a holiday in advance that can take an entire year, and those who do their preparations at the last moment. It is not difficult for one to define themselves according to the classification above. However, when a person faces another classification, which is a classification of holiday costumes, namely the Halloween ones, the impediments of choice occur due to the variety of categories according to which the Halloween costumes can be categorized as following: metaphorical or real objects, real people or fictional characters, hand-made or bought, simple or complex, traditional or innovative. Each category is based on a specific criterion that defines the division of the groups: meaning, the truthfulness of the character, the way of creating the costume, the complexity of the latter, and time. All Halloween costumes can be divided into those based on metaphor, namely pun-based costumes, and those based on the meaning of real objects. A costume of a cat that includes ears, a tail, mustache, and black jeans reminds the viewer of a common cat anyone can meet in the street. However, if the costume has such details as the mask of Zorro and a bag with the sign of money, the viewer thinks of a â€Å"cat burglar† which changes the meaning of the entire costume from the direct to a metaphorical one. Another example is a costume of a sheep, where white color reminds the viewer of a farm animal, but when the color changes into the black, the whole costume obtains a different meaning, which is â€Å"black sheep† an extraordinary person, who does not suit into the crowd. Therefore, being based on the â€Å"meaning† criteria, the category discussed above is vast due to the variety of puns occurring each year in the spoken language. The second category of Halloween costumes unites the groups of â€Å"fictional† and â€Å"non-fictional† costumes. Here, the main criterion is the realness of the character. One can draw a parallel between the literary genres when differentiation is based on the real-life experiences or pure imagination of the author. The significant part of the Halloween costumes belongs to the fictional characters: Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Vincent Vega and Mia Wallace from the iconic Pulp Fiction, Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians, and others. The list of fictional characters may endlessly continue due to the variety of the latter having been created for centuries. The group of non-fictional characters encompasses fewer characters than that of the fictional. Nowadays, the holiday participants prefer fictional characters due to the variety as well as the outer vividness and instant recognition in the crowd they possess. If one chooses the costume of a non-fictional character, then he or she may find some of them entertaining and meaningful enough for the fact that modern popular stars have turned their life into a life-lasting narration with an extraordinary image of themselves. While the costume of Abraham Lincoln or Thomas Jefferson is quite traditional and one-dimensional, the costumes of the modern stars may be challenging to compose. For instance, if one decides to dress like Lady Gaga or Beyonce, they will have to make reference in their attire to a specific music video that would make the costume recognizable for everyone. Therefore, both non-fictional and fictional characters may be a source of inspiration if one uses their imagination. The third category of costumes based on the criteria of item-making divides Halloween costumes into handcrafted or ready-made. Hand-made clothing is a costume manually created, commonly by a holiday participant, while ready-made costumes are available in any clothes stores and vary in price. Here, opinions about the advantages and disadvantages regarding both groups differ: while hand-made costumes are considered cheap because they do not require much time or financial resources, the ready-made costumes are expensive and unoriginal. However, the need for handcrafted or ready-made costumes depends on the simplicity and the required details. For instance, a plain white T-shirt, baggy jeans and a cap are enough to create an image of Eminem. Meanwhile, the creation of a Wonder Woman image will require the exact tiara, metallic bracelets and the entire outfit that the character wears in the same-called comics and the movie. The following category is based on the complexity of the Halloween costume according to which one can easily guess whether the person did the last minute or the whole-year preparations. Simple costumes are not complicated for anyone to create due to the clothes and details anyone can find at their home. For instance, the costumes of the Breakfast Club characters will require the vintage clothes everyone can find in their parents’ old wardrobe from the 1980s or 1990s. Further, the creation of a hippie image is also a simple task, as it will need grandmother’s clothes from the sixties. Meanwhile, if one’s grandmother was not a hippie but a common young woman and had pink clothes, then the creation of the Marvellous Mrs. Maisel’ character can be quickly planned. Meanwhile, the complex-made costumes require specific details that one has to buy at online costume shops or fan sites. For instance, the creation of the Harry Potter characters will require special robes, scarfs, and magic wands from the stores devoted to the Harry Potter books and films. The same refers to the construction of the Deadpool or Spiderman costume. The last category of the Halloween costumes encompasses two groups, which are traditional or innovative costumes, depending on whether the idea is new or old. As time passes, people innovate their old ideas about traditional costumes or create new images. However, innovations always coexist along with the traditions, which means that by innovating the traditional image, the latter acquires a new meaning. For instance, the notorious image of a witch from the folklore has been renovated in the 1990s by the iconic Halloween movie Hocus Pocus, a film telling a story of the three witches. Winifred Sanderson costume, one of the sisters, is the most popular among the Halloween fans famous for its â€Å"googly-one-eyed spell book, followed closely only by Winifred’s lust for eternal youth† (Horvat para. 4). Until then, people keep dressing in the costumes of such traditional creatures as ghouls, werewolves, cats, and ghosts that besides considered old-fashioned, can be still â €Å"terrifying or outright incomprehensible† (Edwards para.1). Without additional meaning, traditional costumes are considered unoriginal, and that is why, as it has been mentioned, the Halloween participants create innovative ideas that are mostly based on puns or the impersonations of characters from the late movies and series. Among the latter, the most popular Halloween costumes are an image of a prisoner from Orange is the New Black, a handmaid from The Handmaid’s Tale, as well as Daenerys Targaryen or Jon Snow from The Game of Thrones (Teather para. 16). Though the boundary between the traditional and innovative Halloween costumes is blurred, the definition of the costume’s traditionalism or innovativeness depends on the meaning of the image. Conclusively, Halloween costumes fall in different categories depending on the judging criteria. According to the meaning, the costumes are divided into metaphorical or real objects. According to the fictional or non-fictional experiences of the impersonated character, the costumes are the ones of real people or fictional characters, while according to the way the costume has been created, the Halloween attire can be hand-made or bought. As for the complexity, the costumes are simple or complex, and as for the time of creation, the Halloween wardrobe is traditional or innovative. However, all characteristics above can be changed by the addition or elimination of a certain meaning as it has been discussed in the examples of the Hocus Pocus witches or the costumes of modern celebrities. Concluding Remarks In brief, the classification essay divides objects into categories according to specific characteristics. The essay above demonstrates that the author has divided the Halloween costumes into categories, opposite to each other. For instance, the category of meaning encompasses two opposite groups of metaphorical and real-objects costumes. In the Introduction, the author summarizes the issue and the general categories with their determining criteria. Further, each paragraph of the Body explains the strengths and weaknesses of the category’s groups. For each category, the author has provided examples. The Conclusion paragraph summarizes the categories and restates the thesis statement. We hope that the example of the classification essay above not only helped you find an appropriate Halloween costume but also served as an accurate explanation for writing the classification essay. Time is money Essay Example for Free

Time is money Essay Indeed, however the concepts of â€Å"time† and â€Å"money† are closely related, they are not equal. Some people complain about the lack of money, but do not know how to kill their time, while others earn decent amount of money, but cannot find a minute of free time. In the formula, â€Å"time is money† – there is great wisdom, which, however, is formulated too generally. As well as money, time is a resource. However, this is a unique resource. Time, unlike money, you cannot borrow, save, or pile it up for future use. Therefore, the problem is not how much time we have, but how we use it. People, who do not know how to manage their time, are in constant tension. Not surprisingly, the time it is never enough. Experienced businessmen say, â€Å"If you cannot manage your time, you will not be able to control anything else. † The rational organization of time can put in front of us a lot of problems, but at the same time open up tremendous prospects. People, who do not know how to manage their time, can to reflect on his past for hours and months, regretting missed opportunities. If you look objectively, it is quite pointless, because the past cannot be changed. All that we can do is to build our future. One who has wasted his time, and not studied, will not be able to pass in spite of being clever. So our success or failure depends on the right use of time. People have become famous and rich by making good use of time. Research workers and scientists use their time to improve the lot of human beings. By making proper use of their time, they become famous. So also merchants and professionals, who work hard, make a lot of money. They know how to make good use of their time. Knowing how precious time is we should never waste time, but make good use of it. Home Is Where the Heart Is I personally think that home is a small world where one lives according to his/her own rules. Its a place where you feel comfort, warmth and reliability. And I believe that its not the size of the place where you live that matters, but the way you feel about it. And if your house is not just a building for you but a place that you can call home, it means that you want to stay there as long as possible and its a place where you always want to return to. The importance of home is depicted in languages of all the nations: we say East or West, home is best , the English say My home is my castle. Home is a place that awakens the most pleasant feelings and high emotions in soul of every person. Always after a hard day I return home and think At last I came home. For me there is no place like home. Im sure that home of a person is as much a reflection of his personality, as the clothes he wears, the food he eats, the books he reads and the friends he spends his time with. Homes reflect the way of life and habits of their owners. Even after the first few minutes in our flat you can understand all hospitality and friendliness of this place and the family which lives there. Our flat is very warm and cosy, so it makes any person feel at home. Its the place where I wake up every morning to the refreshing smell of coffee from the kitchen and where every day of my life starts, thats why it is so important for me. My home, my sweet home Sometimes after a long journey I return home with such pleasure and happiness, that I feel myself like a baby that returns to its mother. I love every corner and every thing in my flat. My home is my fortress, it is my territory, my place where I feel good and comfortable. And nobody can disturb me here. If you are in Rome, do like Romans â€Å"When in Rome, do as the Romans do† is the famous axiom of St Ambrose, the very famous bishop of Milan in the 4th century. He advises that people should follow the traditional customs and decency of country where they choose to live. The knowledge about culture and customs of another country bring many benefits for immigrants. They can know the positive things they should do and the negative things they must avoid. This knowledge also makes them feel more freedom in a strange country. Nowadays, many people have been using this axiom as a motto to achieve the success in their life, especially immigrants and overseas students. However, some people do not agree with this axiom. This essay considers the statement and argues that it is correct. Some people from the opposition force are temporary visitors as overseas students or businessmen and they say it is not necessary for them to follow the customs and behaviour of their hosts. One of their reasons is since they are always busy with their works, they do not have enough time to learn all the customs and how to behave in the right way in other countries. Moreover, their time spends to study or work overseas is just about two or three years, so it is not matter whether they follow the customs and behaviour of the foreign countries where they live. However, both businessmen and overseas students cannot work or study without communication with local people. Overseas student often must contact with teacher and classmates, while businessmen often do business with local companies or local customers. Therefore, trying to get used to customs will help them to accommodate to new environment. Even if overseas students and businessmen just study and work for a short time in other countries, they still have to understand the local community. It is very helpful for their study and business. Moreover, following the custom shows the respect for local people, and it helps visitors receive the admiration from host. I agree to this statement but to some extent I disagree to this proverb. Every culture has their own ways of celebrating their happiness and sad moments. For example, in Indian culture, weddings are considered to be one of the biggest events in the family and it goes on for 3 days. If an american or British attends such events in traditional Indian wear and appreciates the culture, the local people will be more than happy to accept them and involve them in every rituals. Similarly if an Indian attends an american or British wedding happily like other american and British people, the locals will be delighted and they will accept Indian culture openly. Every culture has its positive and Negative aspects. We should accept the positive aspects , however, the negative aspect can not be ignored. Some cultures are very strict and sensitive about their religion and their way of life. For example, Muslims follow their religion strictly and their religion prohibits consumption of pork in their food. Their sentiments should be respected and they should not be offered pork in their meals. However, accepting and following other culture is a threat to our own culture as well. we tend to lose our own traditions and beliefs in an attempt to follow and embrace other cultures. Future generation will not learn their real tradition and culture and in this process, there is a chance that we will lost our own values.
